1,000 Pitches is a campus-wide entrepreneurship competition where students at the University of Michigan can pitch their ideas for new inventions, businesses, and non-profit organizations. The winning pitches in each category will receive $1,000. Click here for more information.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a recent addition to MPowered’s comprehensive lineup of new initiatives that encourage the entrepreneurial mindset.The five day series of events will primarily consist of entrepreneurially minded speakers and Diag Day, in which student organizations present how they promote entrepreneurship along with chances for students to win prizes. MPowered Wants You to Check Out

This $10,000 competition is designed to encourage students to create cost effective alternative energy solutions that are scalable to all income levels, in the U.S. and beyond.

Pandora founder, Tim Westergren, joined MPowered and the University of Michigan last Friday, March 27, to deliver the incredible story of the company he created and the ups and downs of a truly spectacular revolution in music. Watch the video here.
