The Michigan Business Challenge provides University of Michigan students with another forum to put their ideas and skills to the test against other entrepreneurs. Clean energy business plans can compete in both the Clean Energy Prize and the Michigan Business Challenge – a chance to gain more experience and compete for more money.
The Great Lakes Entrepreneur’s Quest hosts a statewide business plan competition.

Patent/Legal Resources
Contestants should take measures to confirm that any intellectual property associated with their submission will be appropriately protected. Also, teams should determine if any intellectual property associated with their submission is owned by the University of Michigan or other entity. The University of Michigan Office for Technology Transfer is available to assist and answer questions regarding University of Michigan technologies.
