Two Software Developers and Bioinformatician
Software Developer
The individuals we’re looking for:
- Are passionate about creating high-quality software in a test-driven environment.
- Value simplicity in software architecture, design, and practices.
- Communicate well in person and in writing.
- Enjoy working in the dynamic environment of a startup using Agile development practices.
- Are skilled in Java, Web development, and SQL.
Experience with AJAX/JQuery, XML/XSL, MySql, scripting languages (such as perl), and Linux is a plus.
Bioinformatics Analyst
The individuals we are looking for:
- Have a strong understanding of basic biology, genomics, DNA microarrays, high-content data analysis and genome databases.
- Have strong computational skills; in particular, data parsing, data analysis and database implementation.
- Are able to review and synthesize scientific data.
- Are passionate about creating high-quality output in an open, challenging environment
- Communicate well in person and in writing.
- Enjoy working in the dynamic environment of a startup life sciences technology company.
Bioinformatics, programming, and database experience are required; experience with Perl, R, and SQL, as well as with high-content genomics data are a plus.
