Global Entrepreneurship Week is a recent addition to MPowered’s comprehensive initiatives that encourage the entrepreneurial mindset. The five day series of events will primarily consist of entrepreneurial-minded speakers, Speed Network the Globe, and Diag Day.

Our theme for the week is how the entrepreneurial mindset fits into our lives as students and in our future lives out in the real world. The week has four goals: to inspire, to connect, to mentor, and to engage.

The 5-Day Challenge is a competition that ties the whole week together and offers an exceptional prize for the winner. At each event a letter will be released and the first person to unscramble the letters will get a free spot on the CFE’s Bay Area Trip! This is a unique opportunity to network with active Venture Capitalists and Entrepreneurs and to pitch directly to a panel of Venture Capitalists.

Featured Event - Diag Day:

Diag Day, held on November 19th, will be the pinnacle of Global Entrepreneurship Week. Many student organizations will gather on the Diag, much like Festifall, to discuss how they embrace and advance the entrepreneurial mindset in their own unique way. The goal of this event is to highlight that the entrepreneurial mindset can be found anywhere on this campus in many unique ways. We will also be featuring a Passport Program which will encourage students to visit various organizations or ventures and converse with the members to receive prizes.

Featured Event – Diag Day:

Diag Day, the peak event for Global Entrepreneurship Week, will include student and faculty organizations presenting how they promote the entrepreneurial mindset. There will be a Passport Program which awards prizes for visiting various stops on the Diag. More information about Diag Day can be found here.
