While MPowered can help with many aspects of student ventures, one thing we turn to outside help for is funding. MPowered constantly seeks for competition opportunities so that our students can get receive the best possible funding for their ideas. Competitions range in difficultly, selectivity, and focus, but they all do a wonderful job spreading entrepreneurship on campus, validating the possibility of certain ventures, and getting students the funding they need.
1,000 Pitches is a campus-wide entrepreneurship competition where students at the University of Michigan can pitch their ideas for new inventions, businesses, and non-profit organizations. The winning pitches in each category will receive $1,000. Click here for more information.
